'Always trying to find meaning in everything - Sometimes there isn't meaning.'

I agree with this. Sometimes there's just acceptance of things as they are. Trying to find meaning where there is no particular meaning can be as frustrating as trying to find pattern and order in a carton of spilled eggs. Sometimes things just are. Brownian motion. Random. Maybe that's all that there is and occasionally our pattern-seeking minds see something that looks meaningful, organized and comforting and we seize upon it. I just don't know anymore. Maybe it's just not possible to say this and this, therefore we can predict the certainty of that. Maybe the best we can do is to just observe, with acceptance, this. And this. And this.

Random Words

Found the link to this nifty little word generator at Pomegranates and Paper this morning... thanks to another link from Fran at Sacred Ordinary.  It searches through your blog... or other web page... and comes up with a word picture of the words it finds there.  I read through the words it found in my musings... and decided that it says quite a bit.. now I have to mull over it.  Leaves me wondering how much words chosen at random from over a year of my life really means... how defining are these words, these thoughts... how true am I to myself.   And then... on the lighter side, some of these words just bring back really happy, fun memories!!

Gripe of the Day

Am I the only person who REALLY doesn't like the new format of the TypeLists in the side borders on the blog pages?!?  And who ever saw a rectangular CD cover?!?  This is really messing with my sense of order and reason... sigh
